To obtain the red gem You have to get to the death route and get to a giant pit.You can actually jump it by slide double jumping and using the death tornado spinand the gem should be in front of you over anther small pit.
Vs Uka-Uka [Submitted by: Kevin Park]
To Vs Uka-Uka, you have to get every gems including the colour gem. Also you have to complete the 5 secret level and get al the crystals there. I know it's really hard but try to get every Gems. After defeating Uka-Uka, you will see the final 7 minutes movie. You will see Uka-Uka running away in space with Dr.N.Cortex and saying, "This is not over BANDICOOT, I'll be back more stronger then ever." GOOD LUCK.

For infinty lives press start button and hold L1 and r1 and press triangle, triangle, sqaure.

On the Avalanche level (Coco on snowboard, level 16) follow the apples. Coco should smash all of the boxes, collect the apples and snowboard through every set of flags, giving you a clear gem for the flags and if you collected all of the previous boxes, a box gem aswell.
Extra Life:
When you are in the first level, Arctic Antics , At the end of the level, there is a mammoth up on a cliff. Jump onto the furry rascal and you will get an extra life.
Easy Lives:
To get easy lives, you must have beaten the fourth boss and have the bazooka. Then go to level 1. Around the place are those big elephants. Shoot them. There are three elephants. For each time you kill one, you gain 1 life. A better way, is to shoot the elephants, go to the beginning of the level, die, then shoot them again.
Alternate ending sequence:
Collect all 46 gems to view an alternate ending sequence.
Defeating Crunch Time:
Every time freezeballs, beams, or fire comes out, jump over the fence into the inside platform. They cannot touch you there, but fireballs will land everywhere -- just watch for their shadows. There is a series of elements you have to avoid. Then shoot Crunch with the bazooka and spin Cortex. The series is: fireballs, shoot Crunch, spin Cortex, freezeballs, fireballs, shoot Crunch, spin Cortex, fire, fireballs, freezeballs, fire, shoot Crunch, spin Cortex, beams, fireballs, fire, beams, freezballs, fireballs, beams, shoot Crunch, spin Cortex. If you win, you will unlock five secret levels for which you must collect a certain amount of relics in order to open the doors.
Defeating Lo-Lo:
Watch where the mask floats and shoot there.
Defeating Py-Ro:
Hold Circle to charge the water cannon or you will never hit.
Defeating Ro-Ko:
Roll around the side of the area without going in the center. Every rock will come near you, and Crunch will mostly miss you.
Defeating Wa Wa:
When you are facing Wa Wa, crunch will shoot things at you. He will fire blue beams that you should jump over. When he fires green things, duck. Hop from one panel to another. When you reach Crunch quickly spin. Watch out -- the panels will sink. Try to get a head start on each run. Once Crunch jumps back at the beginning, run. When you spin him the next two times, do not stop running.
Defeat N.Gin:
To defeat N.Gin, shoot at the flashing pads on his robot suit. Four of the pads on the first suit will fall off. The pad underneath his viewing area will not fall off: it will just stop flashing. The two easiest pads to hit are the ones that fire missiles, (the middle is also quite easy too), then his arms are the last two. When he brings up his arm, there will be a few seconds before he starts firing, so this is the best time to shoot at the end of his arms. When you have destroyed all the flashing pads, then he will get into another suit which is even harder.
This time, the flashing pads are four missile launchers, one on the far left, and one on the far right. The last one is just under N.Gin's ugly mug. Hit and destroy all these pads, and you have and apple bazooka!!!
Beat Time Trail Fast on Dragon Level:
On the level that you are being chased by the dinosaur/dragon you can beat the level very fast. On time trail right when you get chased by the dragon after the ? mark platform press select and you will be telepoted to the end by the nitro boxes.
